One of the fun programs I have been using for a while is Celestia. You can literally go anywhere in space. You can even visit real and fictional planets around other star systems. Any perspective you can dream of in the solar system can be set up to view. This can occur fixed, in real, or accelerated time. Many add ons developed by aficionados of the program are available. It can be used as great planetarium style teaching program on the PC. Be prepared to be impressed. It's just like being there and it's free.
